Ok now i can say7 GIMP is good, did you put a render in there and what did you do to make it like that.

C4D's. Both PS and GIMP are compatible with that. Like some people say, GIMP is a free version of Photoshop. Just more advanced.

How did you add effects?

Go to google, search up "C4D effects"

Save up some, and when you want to use them in a sig apply them like you would a render. (Idk how you do it, but I do File > Open as Layers)

Hmm'z.. I never knew Break was a girl o.0 I thought you was a male too.. sorry .. Gimp isn't good unless you really know how to use it like a pro xP.. Although I haven't used it before.. from the things I've heared, it's hard to use.. But I know a person who's very good at using Gimp.. he are some of his works..

These are just his first-ish works xP He's much better now.. he makes stuff for others in an academy.. anywayz.. I'm just showing you what kinda work you can do in Gimp. I might try it out.

This sig I worked very hard on, but ended up spelling "galaxy" wrong.

Hmm'z.. nice work.. good work using Clipping Masks.. you just need to erase some bits.. it looks overdone I guess.. and work on those colours.. try using some adjustment layers.. and change text.

I know, right? D: All I did was follow a tutorial (This one, to be exact) then I added a cooling filter and got that. o.o

That avatar is very good.. you could erase some effects.. definately remove the red line .. maybe use 1px for the stroke.. also try using some Lighting.. it'd make your GFX better..

Ok heres a question for Britt and DarkNess, what type of Ps do you use? CS or elements?

I use PS CS4.. I just downloaded some extra brushes.. and that's all I use o.o

Yep.. all PS versions are the same but the higher the version the better the quality and more stuff..

I use CS5.

And I do like my mario one the best, except for the spelling mistake.
