Nice Works DarkS, you can either use the Line Tool or go to Blending Mode > Stroke > Inner Stroke > Set the settings and viola to make a border, simple =)

They don't always need to be on top. Sometimes they help with blending. But in this case, the brushes shouldn't be on the FACE of the render--that's why it looks messy.
The text for this one would look better if it was white I think. Also maybe take off the outer glow? I think the render should be bigger in general though too, so it's the focal, not the text.

For the second one, it looks really good, especially for a beginner. =) The hair looks a little too blurry/pixelated at the edge. The bg in general is a little too pixelated. Text could use a little work.

Overall, those are really good for your first sigs!~

Very good, I like it very much but the circles shouldn't be there, the border is too thick and the text colour doesn't fit. Overall, nice improvement. 8.5/10
