I make banners when I need to relax and often calm down.
I made my first banner when I was 10 and had joined my first forum. I guess you could say my style is still developing. I use either GIMP or a variation of Photoshop, depending on what computer I have on hand.

Hmm'z.. flow as in the direction of your effects.. I mean those effects.. the black "squiggles" don't work with the work at the front.. talking like it's 3-D..

Black squiggles? Not quite sure what you mean. Unless you're talking about the right side... That's part of the render, didn't want to remove the character's hair. Otherwise, you might be seeing something that I can't see on my screens.

Hmm'z.. that black background.. kinda transparent.. I see them as squiggles

The first two were to help me get a feel for what I wanted to do, which is why the font is blurred xD I usually only make new signature banners when I find something I like enough to make something with. It makes a nice change from editing photos all the time, getting back into the swing of things now. Things can only get better, as they say.

Graphics is more then just banners and photomanipulation. I'm not a serious artist and I don't put time into practice.

Mintjam, those sig banners from "tues sept. 07." there great, i really like them, cause there not the usual box sig, make the white edging transparent on the second and third ones and they'l be loads better, great art work mate..they stand out real good.

And your new banner sig is good aswell, not to sure about the wallpaper, good background but i'm not to fond of the image youve put into it.. but thats just me.. good work though.

It's a personal use wallpaper anyways, as long as it works for me, I don't mind ^^; It's kind of old now anyway.

Not been making things lately, been busier than usual. Autumn/winter is usually my 'down'time though, I lose interest in art-y stuff.



I made this one too fast, there's a lot more I could do to improve it.

Hmm'z.. the first sig is needs some work on flow and colours.. don't cover the render with effects.. just ruins it.. the effects are quite random but ok.. the signature overall is kinda too dark.. I see some sharpening there but I dunno.. can't really see well.. the second sig is quite good.. the motion blur is effective but you put too much of it.. quite plain.. I like the border though.. it's cool x]
