Heyy these are my graphix!
I made this one just then and this was my first time trying our grpahix and all that so can people who use GIMP please tell me how to improve things

Lol it's okay for very first try , but you used the glossy effect the wrong place

i know, i tryed doing it by the tutorial but then i screwed up so bad that i sorta went my way for a bit

It's good for a first try. You can improve by using various tutorials

There actually pretty good mate, well done.
Keep experimenting with different effects, just try stuff and see how it looks.

No probs mate, sometimes the experiments will come out looking a bit off... but other times they will finish up looking really great...... and then you'l realise you cant remember how you did it.....
happens to me all the time..
just remember, everyone's idea of artwork is different, some people will like your work and others wont, dont worry about that, thats just the way it is, keep on trying different ways and effects to create your graphics and dont worry about what other people think... its what you think that counts..

Yer i was trying to do a user bar but i couldnt get the scanlines and it was so frustraing so i went with the glossy buton, i was using graphic central's tutorial for GIMP

Your userbar looks pretty good Saiyan, good first try mate, another thing you can do is to make the corners round, then add a border to it.
Or just to be different,try summit like this....

you can also make the images smaller and put them inside the userbar.
just some ideas for you.
( these were just done very quickly )

@anime: Yes i was trying to do it according to the tutorial but as usual i couldnt get then text downloaded properly! so i went off a bit.

@Mike: Yes i was trying to make a sig that had the Art Castle logo in it but then found out only ankillien makes them.

Good attempt but you just need to put more effort and time Try using different smudge settings and use the filter effects too.

I have made many more but cant be bothered getting them on here yet.

Thats a real good first attempt at a sig Saiyan, keep going with them and keep on experimenting with different ways of making them... great work mate.
