About...
In 140 AD, a young Roman centurion attempts to uncover the truth about the disappearance of his father’s legion—the Ninth—in the north of Britain 20 years previously. The centurion, Marcus Aquila (Tatum), travels with a British slave, Esca (Bell), beyond Hadrian’s Wall into Caledonia (now known as Scotland).. where he must confront the Pictish tribes to recover the legion’s eagle standard and restore his father’s reputation. It’s revealed that all but a small amount of deserters were killed in an ambush by the tribes and Esca knew the truth the whole time as his tribe was one of the ones that attacked the Ninth. The two are found by the Seal People, the most vicious of the tribes, and Esca claims that Marcus is his slave and betrays him in order to get his freedom. Eventually Esca reveals his actions are a ploy to infiltrate the tribe and the two sucessfully retrieve the eagle which is in the possesion of the Seal People.

PS, that took me 3 try's to get this post to load properly.

This is the next movie i'm gonna watch, ive heard its supposed to be pretty good, so once ive watched it i'l post a bit about if its any good or not..

I don't think I want to watch this. But I have been wrong before like with Avatar or Rio (My brother took me)

Rite, just watched this movie taday, The Eagle.
And its a very good movie, a great story to it and some good action in it.
Yeh, ok, it sorta puts us Scottish guys in that time as a bunch of barbarians...
( huh!!? yeh ok, we still are.. )
but it shows that there's good and bad in all different countries and that some times even people at war can become friends.
So, as a movie for you to see, i'd definetly recommend it..
Rated.. about a 8 / 10.
